MILITARY TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT
The Il-76MD-90A(E) is designed to transport and airdrop military and humanitarian cargo, military equipment, personnel, and carry casualties.

The Il-76MD-90A(E) cargo cabin can be converted in 1.5-2 hours for transportation of up to 225 servicemen, fire fighting, casualty evacuation, and medical care.

Transport capabilities
The Il-76MD-90A(E) provides airlift of almost the entire range of the ground forces' weapons and military equipment, including tanks.

The Il-76MD-90A(E) is capable of airlifting up to two companies of military personnel (145/225 servicemen in single-deck / double-deck versions) or up to 126 equipped paratroopers to remote theaters of operations.

Five or six Il-76MD-90A(E) aircraft provide rapid airlift of a motorized rifle company (10 APCs, 100 military personnel and equipment) to a remote region.
The Il-76MD-90A(E) can carry two partly knocked down
8-13-ton helicopters (Puma, Mi-8/17, etc).
The Il-76MD-90A(E) provides transportation of 3 IATA 2G1C containers.
